Soft Geometry

The artworks all share a consideration of materials and a commitment to process, each with a sensitivity to texture, colour, form and composition. With both large scale and smaller works on show, Soft Geometry represented a diverse and unexpected grouping of works.”
I have a habit of taking things a part, the putting back together bit, never quite goes to plan. I’m intrigued to find out how things are made. Unpicking an object not only helps me to understand how it has been constructed but often triggers my imagination. Without having any preconceived ideas what will develop, I begin to play around and explore certain elements, techniques and processes discovered.
All these objects are the result of my investigations.
